Sunday Shred 2027: Join Us for Winter Indoor Skateboarding Lessons!
That’s right…We’re keeping the stoke going all winter long! Our Sunday Shred skateboarding lessons will be brought indoors to Newburgh, NY, this winter.
Whether your kid has never stepped on a skateboard before or is just getting comfortable on their board, Sunday Shred is all about learning the fundamentals in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Learn to Skate, Build Confidence, and Have Fun
Our winter sessions for Sunday Shred are designed specifically for beginner skateboarders. With guidance from our professional & experienced skateboard instructors, participants will learn the basics at their own pace, get comfortable on their boards, and develop the skills they need to keep progressing.
More than just skateboarding lessons, Sunday Shred is about creating a space where kids can try something new, meet other skaters, make friends, and be part of a community that encourages everyone to give it a go.

All sessions take place at the JCC gym in Newburgh, NY, from 1:30–2:30 PM.

No Gear? No Problem!
Rental gear is available during the checkout process, including skateboards, helmets, and pads, so your child can get started without needing to purchase their own equipment.
Having good quality gear is essential for a smoother and less frustrating learning experience. We'll help make sure skaters have the proper gear they need to learn safely and enjoy their time on the board.
Who Can Join Our Indoor Skateboarding Lessons?
Our winter Sunday Shred sessions are exclusively for beginner skateboarders, with recommended ages of 4–12 years old. No previous skateboarding experience is necessary, and kids can learn at their own pace in a welcoming, encouraging environment.
