The Great Skate Giveaway

Imagine the excitement of 100 kids receiving brand new skateboards and helmets completely free. That's exactly what happened at the Great Skate Giveaway, a fantastic collaboration project between Keaton's Kids, Keep It Moving, and Hacienda Skate Shop.

Skateboarding is more than just a sport; it's a way of life. It teaches resilience, creativity, and the joy of mastering new skills. However, the cost of equipment can be a significant barrier. The Great Skate Giveaway aimed to change that by providing 100 skateboards and helmets to the youth at the Newburgh Skateboard Park. By providing access to top quality equipment, the Great Skate Giveaway has opened new doors for the next generation of skateboarders, nurturing their dreams and inspiring a lifelong love for the sport.

The event was a massive success, with an incredible turnout that exceeded our expectations. The park buzzed with excitement and energy as kids of all ages lined up to receive their new gear. Watching their faces light up as we helped them take their first ride was a sight to behold.
